“A Tool for us to grow, overcome & accept challenges”
At a point a few years ago when I went to Bali for one of my teacher trainings, I was into wearing belt buckles as my personal fashion. During one of our evening activities we formed a circle and we all went through taking turns singing the chorus of ‘this little light of mine’. At some point I thought I’d attempt to sound like David Lee Roth from Van Halen, or Jon Bon Jovi maybe, or at least some kinda hair band. I must have missed the mark however, because my friend Adam thought it was solid country, and between that and the belt buckle thing, began to call me “Cowboy”.
Later that trip we were playing around with photography and yoga poses. My friend Dylan had been given the name “The Smoking Yogi”. We did some photos together and ended up coming up with one we called “Zen Cowboy and The Smoking Yogi”. It stuck.
